01 Where can I download UmbraLux?
On the App Store for iPhone and iPad, and on Google Play for Android. The download is free, and the app is available in German and English.
02 What do I need to get started?
Your date, time and place of birth. The more precise your birth time, the more precise the values that depend on it, such as your ascendant or your Human Design. If you don't know it, the app uses 12 noon, and you can add the exact time in your profile later.
03 Is UmbraLux really free?
Much of it is: your profile, the library with 20 systems and a limited number of messages with Verus every day. With Premium you can send Verus up to 300 messages a day, have his answers read aloud and get the library's in-depth content, plus more library narrations a day. Personal reports are bought individually; depending on your plan, Premium includes credits for them. There are no ads in the app.
04 What happens to my data?
We use your birth data for your personal calculations, your reports and your conversations with Verus. For this we work with service providers who process data on our behalf, such as Google Firebase for your account and database, Mistral AI for the AI texts and OpenAI for voice messages and for reading texts aloud. Conversations with Verus require your explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time in the settings. We don't sell your data. You can read more in our privacy policy.
05 Can I use the app offline?
Only to a limited extent. Most features need an internet connection, above all your conversations with Verus and your reports.
06 Is there a subscription?
Premium comes as a monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. You can cancel a subscription at any time in your store's subscription settings (App Store or Google Play); Premium then stays active until the end of the paid period. Without Premium, you keep using the app for free.
