Without invitation, a Projector's insights meet resistance even when correct. With invitation, the same insight is received as valuable. This is not a call to passivity — Projectors can position themselves so invitations arise through visible knowledge and demonstrated competence.

The not-self theme for Projectors is bitterness. This arises when Projectors force themselves into Generator dynamics — working ceaselessly without sustainable energy — or when their leadership qualities are ignored and unrecognized.

Energy and Sleep: How Projectors Regenerate

Since Projectors have no Sacral Center, they absorb others' energy and become conditioned by it — which is exhausting. Projectors need significantly more rest than Generator types. Ideally they go to bed before becoming tired and spend time alone to release others' conditioned energy. Their optimal work volume is often 3–6 hours of focused, high-quality work — not 8-hour Generator days.
