53. Development

Jian (Development) shows a tree on a mountain. It grows slowly, roots deeply, and defies the wind. It is the image of stable, organic growth. There are no shortcuts here. Success comes from consistently keeping to the right sequence. Compare it to a long-term strategy: Before you expand, you have to consolidate the base. Every step builds on the one before. It is a very positive sign for projects designed for substance and durability. 'Good things take time' is the operating principle here.

DevelopmentPatience

Development. The girl is married off. Good fortune. Persistence is beneficial.

Steadiness

Jian teaches that real quality takes time. It is the opposite of hype.

Operative Resources

Cumulative energy. The power that comes from small daily progress.

System Blocks

Shortcuts – trying to force results without the necessary process.

System-Hacks

Grow steadily.

  • Mini Step: What is the smallest step that moves your long-term project 1% forward today?
  • Check Your Ritual: Do you have a daily habit that secures your success?

Image

On the mountain there is a tree: the image of Development. So the noble one holds fast to dignified virtue and improves manners and customs.

Shadow Challenge

Shadow: Impatience – Wanting to skip steps. Pulling on the grass to make it grow faster, which destabilizes the system.

Strategy

Haste makes waste. Keep to the proper order. Build on a solid foundation. Trust the process, even if it takes time.

  • Level 3: Off Course (Danger)The wild goose makes its way to the high plateau. The man departs and does not come back. What was begun is not brought to completion. Misfortune. Isolation and strife. You ventured too far without securing your base. Retreat!
  • Level 4: Adaptation (Flexibility)It reaches the tree and perhaps finds a flat branch. No fault. You find a temporary solution in a difficult situation.
  • Level 5: Synergy (Success)The wild goose makes its way to the summit. For three years the connection remains unfulfilled. In the end nothing can stop it. Good fortune. First separation, then union. After a long dry spell, things finally come together.
  • Conclusion: Inspiration (Legacy)The wild goose high among the clouds. Its feathers serve the sacred dance. Good fortune. You have reached the goal and are setting new standards.
