The Gift: Acceptance

Acceptance is the answer to constriction, but it isn’t resignation. It means giving up your resistance to what is already there and entrusting yourself to the flow of life. “No, this must not be” becomes “Okay, this is how it is right now.” That sounds modest but changes a lot: if you stop fighting reality, you regain strength and the freedom to act.

People in this gift see themselves and others more clearly, without dramatizing and without playing things down. They can say yes to life even when it hurts. A natural generosity grows out of acceptance: the heart opens because it no longer has to defend itself, and it finds a deep inner calm.

The Siddhi: Universal Love

The highest frequency of this key is universal love. This doesn’t mean romantic love, nor a feeling that comes and goes, but a state of boundless connectedness that takes hold of the whole person. This love favors no one, sets no conditions and makes no distinction between “mine” and “not mine”. Greek has a word for it: agape, selfless love.

Like every siddhi, this one can’t be pursued as a goal. According to Rudd, it reveals itself once constriction has been seen through and acceptance has become second nature.
