What is a Reflector in Human Design?

The Reflector is the rarest Human Design type — only about 1% of people. Their defining feature: all nine centers in the bodygraph are open (white). They have no fixed, defined energy centers.

This makes Reflectors deep mirrors: they fully absorb the energy and qualities of the people around them and the place they inhabit. A Reflector in a room with people feeling good feels good. A Reflector in a toxic environment feels it immediately and profoundly.

The strategy: 28-day lunar cycle

For major decisions, Reflectors have a unique strategy: wait a full lunar cycle — 28 days. During this time the moon moves through all 12 signs and activates every gate and center in the Reflector's bodygraph in sequence, giving them the full picture before deciding.

The not-self theme: disappointment

When Reflectors live against their nature — deciding too quickly, staying in the wrong environment — disappointment arises. Their signature theme when living correctly is wonder: the capacity to experience the world in its full diversity and offer others a unique mirror.
